“Bloom” was a proposed brand identity for the 2025 MacEwan Design Portfolio show. “Bloom” is a vivid celebration of all the work and growth students underwent during their time in the MacEwan design program and a representation of the graduates entering a new chapter in their lives.
The poster is a multimedia collage. The flowers are made from cut-and-pasted self-shot photographs of stems, leaves and bulbs from the Muttart Conservatory. The globe combines treated photography and digital painting, and the clouds and background stars are vector-based illustrations. The multimedia approach represents the different stems of the Macewan design uniting for the portfolio show.
